Jennifer has been a board-certified lactation consultant since 2011. In 1997, she obtained a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Tyler. Over 20 years ago, she left a career as a secondary teacher and coach to be home with her family. During that time, her personal breastfeeding and birthing experience helped eventually shift her into a career path as a doula, childbirth educator, and eventually a lactation consultant.

From 2003-2013, she served countless families in the Northeast Texas community as a doula and childbirth educator. With the same passion, knowledge, and skill development, she pivoted toward a career that allowed her to help parents navigate childbirth and breastfeed with peace and confidence.

Jennifer has worked as a lactation consultant and Trinity Mother Frances since 2012. Her approach is to meet parents where they are and help them progress through breastfeeding challenges. She and her husband, John, live in Gilmer and enjoy traveling and spending time with their four children at the lake, dinner table, or visiting them in college.
