Insurance Coverage
Lactation Consultants of East Texas will work to have your lactation visits covered by your insurance provider.

We are in-network and can bill directly to BCBS, Anthem, Aetna, UHC, UMR, CHAMP VA, Cigna and Curative. We are also able to bill as out-of-network providers to Health First, Health Scope and The Health Plan and many others. Most insurance plans cover office and virtual visits at 100%. ​

All home visits occurring in our service area will have a $50 convenience fee, which will be invoiced at the time
of your visit.​ Home visits outside of our service will include an additional travel fee.

We recommend obtaining pre-approved before scheduling. Please use the link below to allow us to verify your insurance benefits.
If we are unable to bill to your insurance, you will be considered self-pay and will receive a medical receipt (super bill) after your appointment. This receipt can be submitted to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
